The BURNT seed was planted in the California desert more than ten years ago. The sound of the band, now based in San Francisco, has evolved over years. People struggle to categorize our music- we think of it as roots rock hip hop ska, with a dusting of California soul.
After eight years of touring the west coast of North America, from Tijuana to Vancouver Island, BURNT has refined their sound down to raw vocals, bass-heavy soul and a rock-steady groove.
